Maximilian advises and represents clients mainly in the field of non-technical intellectual property rights (trademarks and labelling rights as well as designs or registered designs) and competition law. In addition to the enforcement and defence of legal positions in litigation proceedings, this includes advice on product launches as well as the drafting of licence and supply agreements. Furthermore, his field of activity includes technical property rights (patents and utility models) as well as press law and the right to make statements.

Maximilian studied law at the Justus-Liebig-University of Gießen and obtained his Diploma in English Law during a one-year stay at the University of Canterbury, Kent (England). Following his studies, he completed his doctorate at the Philipps University of Marburg with a thesis on criminal procedure at the interface with the law of expression. During this time, he worked as a research assistant in the litigation department of an international corporate law firm in Frankfurt am Main. He completed his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main with stations in a law firm specialising in civil law as well as in a large media company. Maximilian joined the team of bock legal in 2016.
