John’s practice focuses on professional liability and recourse law, directors’ and officers’ liability, as well as corporate, commercial and insurance law. In particular, John represents lawyers, insolvency administrators and court-appointed receivers, as well as members of management boards, managing directors and supervisory board members, both in and out of court, in the defence against liability claims.
In addition, John advises and represents clients both in and out of court in all matters of corporate and commercial law. His practice particularly includes advising on the formation of partnerships and commercial companies, the drafting and review of articles of association and partnership agreements, the handling of shareholder disputes, as well as matters relating to liquidation and commercial contracts.
John studied law at Philipps University Marburg and specialised in corporate law during his studies. He completed his legal clerkship in Frankfurt am Main. During this time, John worked for renowned commercial law firms, where he focused primarily on commercial and corporate law, as well as on matters of copyright, unfair competition and sports law. John has been admitted to the German Bar since 2023.
